l’étincelle qui déclencha cette collection fut le lavaux, mes premières photographies débutèrent en 1972, un suivi capté par ce lieu immuable, protégé. il orienta mes yeux aux défilés des saisons vers cette pente abrupte qui soudain tombait dans le lac, le seigneur de cette trilogie, le lac Léman qui abritait ses bateaux à vapeur séculaires.
The spark that set this collection in motion was the work itself; my first photographs date back to 1972, a journey captured by this unchanging, sheltered place. It drew my gaze, as the seasons passed, towards that steep slope that plunged abruptly into the lake. The protagonist of this trilogy, Lake Geneva, was home to its age-old steamboats.
