Chora Sfakion au temps des seventies

Nouveauté exceptionnelle offerte aux générations 2, 3, 4 de ces seventies, celles qui n’ont guère LA possibilité de connaître leur village déserté, en ruines lors de mon premier séjour en 1968 et suivants.

Je propose une galerie intégrale de toutes mes photographies prises à et de Chora Sfakion, 65 photographies, sans classement ni datations pour l’heure. Possible dans le futur à la source, soit par mes négatifs et contacts numérotés, datés.

A préciser mes seventies photographiQUEs datent de 1968 durant un mois) puis 1971 ( 6 mois sur place), 1972 (5 mois), 1973 ( 3 mois), puis de 1972 à 1978 environ deux mois à CHAQUE PRINTEMPS. Ce qui explique l’absence de Couleur en Ces choix.

An exceptional new feature for the second, third and fourth generations of those who grew up in the 1970s – those who have little chance of ever getting to know their deserted village, which lay in ruins during my first visit in 1968 and subsequent visits.

I am presenting a complete gallery of all my photographs taken in and of Chora Sfakion – 65 photographs, currently unclassified and undated. It may be possible in future to trace them back to their source, via my numbered and dated negatives and contact prints.
To clarify, my photographic ‘seventies’ date from 1968 (one month), then 1971 (six months on site), 1972 (five months), 1973 (three months), and then from 1972 to 1978, approximately two months EVERY SPRING. This explains the absence of colour in these selections.

I was unsure whether to share this entire, unique collection, but I am doing so for the people of Sfakia because I am rooted in the region for ever. I would simply ask that you respect the © and that these materials are used solely within Sfakian families, and not sold.

A lovely visit amongst the ruins, unpaved roads, the sea and the mountains, and the gradual development of that gem of a place, Chora Sfakion.
